BEAR LEDGE CAMPGROUND is situated on Prospect Mountain in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. We're located at the end of Danforth Road, Up The Mountain !!! Take a left immediately after the last mailbox. The first hill is quite steep, so give it some gas if you're driving up!...
Bear Ledge is a primitive campground which caters primarily to the thru-hikers on The Cohos Trail... This is a donation-only campground and amenities include five walk-in tentsites, a new outhouse, lanterns at every site, rock fireplaces, picnic tables, and a first-aid kit in the outhouse...Water is available at the main house.
There are several short hiking trails ie: The Weber Path, The Border Trail, Mitchell Trail, K & K Trail, Danforth Extension Trail, The Ledge Trail and the Access Trail...
